After pouring over many tripadvisor reviews, I felt my wife and I would have a great 1 day trip in light of the fact I had read about the extreme heat in July and the long bumpy non a/c bus ride into the canyon. The magnificent view of the Grand Canyon from the Colorado River and running the intense rapids were incredible, one we will never forget. The temps were 115, but did not feel that hot and thh water was 45 degrees which felt fantastic afer being in the heat. If you are looking for a 1 day trip to experience it all, this is it. Our tour guide was knowledgable and our transportation company from the hotel to the Grand Canyon were great.

Right from the pickup at our hotel, everything was top notch! Jennifer was a great driver. she knew local history, stopped so we could take pictures and had us home in time for a show. To tired to do that but could have. The raft experience was amazing , it was three hours of roller coasting fun, our guide Josh was very good and knew what he was doing. The canyon is all I expected it to be. My neck was soar from looking up. If this is something you like to do I can think of better place or company to do it with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people put together an extremely pleasurable white water rafting experience. from the Vegas hotel pickup at 4:30am to the drop-off at 6:00pm it all went well. The raft guides are native Americans who added their knowledge of the Colorado River and Grand Canyon history while keeping all the rafters safe and entertained. The rapids were exciting. I dare say none of the rapids were greater than a 5 on their scale of 1 to 10. Yet, it was a fun trip. The last leg of the trip (about 2 hours) was all still-water - a little boring. Yet, we were in the Grand Canyon and the picture opportunities were endless. Also, the falls adventure/hike (short hike, maybe 300 yards) was a great break from the water/rafts. Wed do it again. Good job.

Overall my experience was ‘life changing’, challenging and very good value. Here’s a summary of my comments:
• Daniel’s professionalism, promptness, attentiveness and most interesting general knowledge of the region is most note-worthy.
• The actual rafting was very very fun and exciting for all ages. (My boat had my two teenagers along with a senior citizen).
• I was somewhat disappointed with the local guides. Namely,
o Our Guide Joe (Boat #1) was a confident and professional rafter. However, lacked a strong leadership presence ‘on the river’. I did not feel overly comfortable he would react affectively in a critical situation.
o For example, he suggested we ‘go swimming’ during the second phase of the (non-whitewater) journey. After a brief conversation approximately five of my fellow boaters jumped-in (the middle of the river) (including me and my two teenagers). I might add we were not wearing life jackets. We quickly understood the magnitude and serious of the fast moving Colorado River! Grant we ‘had fun’ I did not feel overly safe nor believed he positioned the boat to provide assistance if needed.
o Additionally, I would have appreciated additional historical and local antidotal stories before or during the river journey.
As I’d mentioned my family had a wonder experience! I’d look forward to returning on another trip that included smaller rafts that required rowing and a well-rounded guide.

The experience was breath-taking and one that I will never forget. The guides were excellent, and very knowledgeable about the water and canyon. They were professional, courteous and made the tour one of a kind. I will definitely do this again, hopefully soon. Thanks everyone for a job well done!

Everything went great, the tour guide (Daniel) was supper fun and knowledgeable of everything from Las Vegas to the drop off point on the reservation. I also have to add that everything was executed on time and we had a really good time. Thanks!
